    Once per year for the notification I don’t mind

    And it can be disabled

    At least it isn’t like a banner ad that can’t be disabled, that’d push me away.

      Agreed. If it isn’t pushy, and it’s a FOSS service, I don’t mind asking for a donation every now again again
