    Is there a bug report about it?

    If not, did you create one, providing logs etc?

    Last time I had to eject a DVD, my kwin didn’t crash, but that is a couple of months ago now.

      @Strit It’s a bug in the KDE Frameworks. I read the release schedule for it but it seemed most distros hadn’t pushed it. I was hoping it would get released soon. I hadn’t ripped any media in a while, I ran into the bug when my wife bought me Star Trek: Enterprise (collection) for my birthday a week ago. But the shipping of the new frameworks hit the news sites today so now it’s just patience. :)
