For those who keep up with which games coming up will ship with DRM, it’s come to light that the new Elden Ring title will use GuardIT
I’ve never heard of GuardIT anticheat before, no idea if it’s linux compatible or not.
Guess I’ll be waiting for when it gets cheaper / goes on sale.

Probably not a great option considering how Nightreign is built around online multiplayer more than any other Fromsoft game. I guess there’s maybe a chance for a selfhosted multiplayer server, but otherwise the likelihood of a pirated version actually working seems slim.
The original (and Erdtree) work perfectly fine when pirated. Theres obviously no online element, but with mods…its still technically doable
