Nah these glue shut phones are pain in ass. Phones need battery replacement after 3 years don’t want to go to a service center for a simple job.

Wish it was available here in India. i would have totally bought this for my father. Repairing these phones is better than buying new ones when he barely does anything other than WhatsApp, youtube and calls.

Pissel devices are like bad hardware plus best software experience making it mediocre at best. Idk when they’ll ship good quality tensor soc. And before someone come and tell me hey i own a pissel and it’s fine for me. Guess what it’s not fine for me.

Here are the cons

Bad cellular reception : yes really bad on 5g. Overheats like crazy. When it overheats ui lags like hell.

First in pcmr community all asus products costs 20% expensive than other brands. People call it asus tax.

Second they had rough start killing amd cpus by over volting those cpu.

Third their z690 board never came with bios flashback so people didn’t considered their boards when intel 13th gen came.

Their quality never improved remained same like other manufacturer while costly way higher why would someone buy their products if not a fanboi

Do they have anything successful besides windows which even getting bad light due to privacy relates stuffs.

Back in 2011 I had Lumia 710. that device performed exceptionally well compared to Android alternatives but Microsoft fuvked it up by going apple way , making everything closed source, free games on Android were paid on windows phone os.

I’m using Mull which is a firefox fork. never had these issues.

it was open source before google acquired it. ig because of licencing google failed to make it close source. plus google slowly removing features later introducing them in their proprietary code. you can use a degoogled phone. half the function will be lost. some apps won’t even work. idk sooner or later custom roms will be luxury of past.

Google slowly making every feature proprietary as possible.
