  • They may actually be hurting themselves in the long run. The amount of people I know that have decided to get chickens since the pandemic has increased far more than I ever expected it would. And if you’ve ever had your own chickens before, you know that there’s plenty to go around and you share with friends and neighbors. So not only are they permanently losing more customers to people getting chickens, they’re also losing customers to friends of people that have chickens. Plus all these people are getting much higher quality eggs from happy chickens, so why would they ever go back? I know not everyone can, but, the more people that start raising chickens the better!

For anyone that needs this information, you can (currently) order abortion medicine (mifepristone and misoprostol) online in any state. I did it a few days ago and it was stupid easy to do. I’m not pregnant, but I wanted to order some as a just-in-case for myself or others.

The Plan C website has a great list of websites you can order from if you’re not pregnant. It costs about $150 and some offer financial assistance if you need it. But please do it NOW while you still can.

I ordered one from Aid access and one from safe choice. Both asked a few questions that didn’t ask for personal information or ID. They mostly just need an email, address to send it, and a credit/debit card to pay.

Some clarifications from other posters that may be helpful: this medication will keep up to 2 years when stored in a cool dry place. This is also different than plan B. Plan B is usable up to 120 hours after sex and does not require prescription. Where as mifepristone and misoprostol require a prescription (obtainable through these sites) and are usable up to 13 weeks of gestation. You may be able to obtain them at your local pharmacy with a prescription in a legal state (for now).

    Good luck out there everyone.

  • I think what you’re referring to is Plan B medication which is only useful for the first 120 hours after sex and doesn’t require a prescription. mifepristone and misoprostol require a prescription which you can get through these sites and they are usable up to 13 weeks of gestation. You likely can still get it at any pharmacy in a legal state. But ordering online not only allows for easy access to prescription, but also circumvents laws preventing sale in particular states. And yes that means you could potentially be prosecuted if caught, but people should still know their options. I for one would rather live through a miscarriage and do time than to die under legal means.

  • The US is quite a large land mass and thus has the ability to produce almost every kind of alcohol you can think of. Some areas are better for growing grains, and others are better for growing grapes, etc. As someone who enjoys mixology as a hobby, I’d say my shelf is about 70% US made liquors and the rest are imported. Most of the wine I’ve come across has been made in California. And ever since craft brewing had a moment, all the beer me and my friends drink are US made as well and those can get pretty hefty if you drink things like stouts. I usually just assume that every country has found a way to make at least one type of high proof product out of “necessity” at one point in time.
