All OP did was stating a simple fact. If you feel the need to outrage over science, then the problem is certainly not OP.

The bitter thing is: we could just implement the “Everyone does X” button. By creating according laws. But that doesn’t happen either. Because suddenly “I would do it, if everyone else did it too” turns out to be just an excuse.

It’s a good question. One of the major examples are wheelchairs. They could be much faster then they are but they are deliberately restricted to leg speed. Of course for safety reasons and so on but its kinda obvious that we don’t trust anyone disabled to excel non-disabled people.

And is there any way to play songs by folder with rhythmbox yet? Haven’t looked into it for a while.

I really really don’t get why you just can’t organize your music in plain old folders with rhythmbox. Not Playlists, not Meta data. Just folders. Ist it that exotic? Is it that hard to implement?
