I love that we need ironclad proof to decide whether or not it’s okay for people to be able to afford sustenance or not. If there’s no proof then, oh well! The poors will just have to make do.

This is why I personally don’t believe in jail/prison. Rehabilitation, yes. Jail or prison? No. I’m no professional but I feel as though I have seen countless studies about how our prison system is a failure and how all it does is set people up to come back. That doesn’t even touch on private prisons and their financial incentives to get people back into the system.

You can’t really teach children from home, so I’m never going to work from home as a maintenance person. That’s fine. Maybe just don’t have kids at school for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I think 4 days for 4 hours is a good schedule for kids while we work 4 days, 6 hours a day.
