I mean, did they say it in a court (or a brief), or just to a news reporter? I feel like “allege” could be correct if it’s not an official record.

Give me alchemy, give me wizardry
Give me sorcery, thermatology
Electricity, magic if you please
Master all of these, bring him to his knees
I master five magics

If you want to give KDE a shot, you don’t need to buy a Deck. Just grab a live installer image from a Linux distro you like, tons of them let you boot and try it out from RAM without actually installing to your hard disk.
I’m pretty UI agnostic (many years with Windows, Mac, ChromeOS, Unity, a few with xfce, and a bit with Cinnamon). I almost picked Gnome on a recent update to my primary home machine for its clean Mac-ish feel, but SteamOS convinced me that modern KDE is actually rather nice.
I used to do tech support with them as a client. Worst IT team to work with, they were always impatient jerks. I never did figure out if the company hired shitty people in the first place or just treated them like dirt with no outlet for their stress except outside vendors.
Yep, I’ve been using the same basic feature on stock Android for years as well, with Magisk and Advanced Charging Controller (ACC).
Still haven’t brought back the 3.5 mm headphone jack? And is that big battery replaceable (i.e. without anything stupid like ungluing it from the delicate touchscreen)?
Any coverage that omits these things is garbage IMO.
I’m no expert and I’ve been out of the game for a while, but as I recall the platforms are all quite different. Maybe it’s common now to only allow messages between matches.
But anyway, I was referring more to the trolls and harassers that need to be banned entirely, not just blocked/ignored by individuals. These people will put nasty inappropriate stuff as their profile pics in the first place, and create new accounts just to pester others.
I think the problem there is moderation. Who is going to do the work of blocking/banning 1000 creepy messages and dick pics per minute on an open platform?
Let’s be honest, what these apps are going to do is boost user engagement (read: waste your fucking time) by pulling you into conversations with AI chatbots. The longer you’re there, the more advertisements they can feed you. It’s going to be harder and harder to find a real person, because investors don’t benefit from that.
Thanks, correction added!
It’s the same situation as if the president became ill or incapacitated in some way.
This has already happened 3 4 times; once for Reagan, twice for GW Bush, and once for Biden (see comment below). In these cases it was quite brief.
There’s a trans/egg joke in here somewhere…
Misread this as MO (Missouri) for a sec and I was ready to be flabbergasted.
Anyway, good job Maryland!
A: None; it was Devon.
Steam page says Denuvo :(
Also $70 for the base game, ouch.
A surprising number of plastic/rubber components used in cheap electronics accessories will offgas. You notice an odd smell, that’s literally petrochemicals entering your nostrils by the millions. Some of them can mimic biomolecules like hormones. I’m not saying they’re necessarily all harmful but there needs to be a lot more research.
Huh? That seems normal for any organization that accepts donations. Someone has to coordinate how they track and interface with donors (e.g. mailers, webpage, etc) and how they process the donated funds (cheque, bank transfer, etc). In fact that usually takes a modest team of people to plan and deliver, and one of them has to be in charge, hence the Director.
Note, “gift” is commonly a synonym for donation here.
But what if I love paying 1 million dollars to license outdated software? 🤡
I’m sorry, bullets aren’t covered by my healthcare executive sympathy plan.
Maybe? I’m not a lawyer, I’ve just worked with some of them. For clients at least, my understanding is that venue and audience can matter. But you could be right regarding the attorneys themselves.
