Isn’t that the point of this thread? That Democrats don’t support the working class?

The military, the police, the prisons, ICE, TSA, DHS, CIA, NSA… any number of oppressive organizations that exist to protect the exalted status of capital.
It’s cute you think we’re still going to have midterms.
/s maybe?
Asking ChatGPT isn’t research.
Find a local Marxist party. Marxists have been fighting the class war for the last ~150 years.
If you want to be effective at changing the system, killing random ICE Nazis won’t do it. Everyone here is advocating peaceful protest, but that also won’t do it - or at least, not by itself.
Instead, consider direct action - sabotage of the means of production that prop up the fascist state.
Take a listen to Rev Left’s interview with Palestine Action to learn what I’m talking about: https://revolutionaryleftradio.libsyn.com/size/5/?search=Palestine+action
Isn’t the whole point of civilization to get away from the tyranny of men with sharp sticks? We can’t let the crimes of our ancestors justify modern crimes.
You know there are people out there who are actually getting off their couch and fighting?Active revolution isn’t for everyone, but you don’t have to keep normalizing laziness and cowardice. You can instead use your voice to encourage action.
Seems like it’s time to for people to learn about sustained direct action campaigns.
Rev Left Radio had a great interview earlier this year with a member of Palestine Action about their extremely successful direct action campaign against Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit. While the media would have you believe that Palestine Action is an ineffective bunch of clowns, they have already forced the closure of two weapons factories in England and forced Barclays Bank to divest from Elbit through sustained sabotage campaigns. Their incredible success is the actual reason the UK government has named them a terrorist organization, not just for spray painting some planes.

For legal reasons, I am not encouraging anyone to break any laws.
I doubt they’re offended. It’s more likely that, as a leftist, they are justifiably concerned about being provoked into making illegal (if morally justified) threats. There’s a long history of state agents infiltrating leftist spaces to provoke illegal behavior (which is often made illegal specifically to target leftists).
Yeah I didn’t think that. Biden was a bandaid that let the wound fester.
Yes, the fight against capitalism and the fascists that back it is an existential issue for all peoples. So it is incredibly important to point out how the Democrats are controlled opposition and waiting for them to save us will just allow us to sink deeper into the shit.
A reminder that even if it is false in this case, many Dems did vote for many of Trump’s appointees. Kristi Noem comes to mind immediately.
Yep. No one except leftists tried to hold Dems accountable, so the politicians got lazy and complicit.
No, I don’t give critical support to Israel because they are a settler colonial project who, along with the US and other Western powers, started all of the troubles in the Middle East in the first place.
No critical support for imperialists.
If I learned anything from the 2024 election it’s that we must unequivocally support the lesser evil. Since Israel attacked first (and is actively committing genocide), that means Iran is the lesser evil and therefore they are perfect and not supporting them means you support genocide. /s
Well according to the Democrats, I should always support the lesser of two evils, so now Iran is good. /s
For real though, it’s called critical support. You can support Iran’s right to defend against genocide while simultaneously criticizing their human rights abuses.
Correct answer. The fascists in charge want to do to California what Israel is doing to Gaza.
That’s my point. Democrats don’t have the best interest of working people in their hearts.
