I’m part of a private tracker site. I’m pretty anon to them. They have an email but I use a VPN all the time. They had a requirement of having the same IP, so I just used one specific server.

I still think Starlink can be a great service for rural areas, but it seems they need to improve their capabilities first. Which in a way makes a chicken-egg scenario. If they expand servers to handle all those people, they should be eligible for a grant, but they don’t wanna do it until they get the grant.
Is something like Heroic launcher required now to play the Epic version of Rocket League? I have it on Steam and get 144FPS at 1440p, mixed settings between performance and quality.
Imagine thinking Jon Stewart of all people wouldn’t talk about certain political situations. Apple TV + looks like it won’t last long if all their content is pandering to Winnie.
I have never heard anyone say “Grandpa Google”. I have heard more people say “Bing it” than someone that didn’t use “Google” to mean search.
Gonna try this. Know anything similar for mobile (iOS) or Apple TV?
Thank you!
This seems kinda scummy. If someone breaks TOS then ban the one account. I’ve seen for years now people bringing up jellyfin, knew it was coming when I saw this headline. I never tried it because I have iOS devices and an Apple TV, but now I see there are 3rd party apps for jellyfin on iOS/tvos. I may try it out, move if it satisfies my needs.
I have wireless charged since the iPhone X. I more see moving to C as a win for accessories and maybe the rare occasion of needing a charger and having to borrow.
Reminds me of the welcome video for Mac OS X Snow leopard
This is good, but a bit late for me. I already moved to Bitwarden for passwords and 2FA. I also don’t expect this to work on my Linux PC.
I use Apple TV, something about needing a third party proprietary app makes it seem cobbled together compared to Plex, especially with that app being freemium. Maybe someday they will have a dedicated app. Last time I looked (probably a year ago) they didn’t have a system for ratings to make a kids account, has that been added?
That would be better than any FAST I’ve seen.
Wow, it’s almost like those free channels the put all over my Plex that nobody wants was was a bad investment. Still love Plex as a service but I find it hard to see any value in FAST.
I have at times noticed some issues loading Lemmy on Firefox on iOS. Hasn’t been too terrible though, and testing now loaded fine. Bear in mind, every browser on iOS is safari webkit under the hood still.
I have started using Memmy App, and also trying Mlem. Both are in beta and you can find links to get them in test flight if you search for them. Despite being in beta they run smooth and fast.
Memmy is my favorite this far mostly because I’m new to Lemmy and it is the only one of the two with working search as of today, so I can find new communities.
IRL friend was on there and invited me
