This was an excellent video and very timely. I have a lot of 2D under my belt but was just starting to dabble in 3D.

I think you could manage it. A friend of mine did it with zero programming experience.

I’d try going to itch.io and joining a game jam. They will usually give you a theme to work around and it’s a great way to learn stuff. Every time I try to do one I try something new.

I think at this point it’s just tradition and makes for a good photo. It doesn’t have anything to do with them being real gold anymore.

It wasn’t great, but IMO Blizzard communities are very fast to rage and make things sound worse than they are. The devs already acknowledged it was a miss and talked about how they plan to do better. I’d just say play and form your own opinion on it.
