I used to like Rossman, but over the years it just kinda seems like he’s fallen into a negativity spiral. What used to be educational just sounds spiteful a lot of the time now.

The electric tax doesn’t go towards fixing roads, though. That’s why it needs to change, otherwise the only people paying into that are non-electric car owners.
I totally agree that the government shouldn’t have more of our data, so I looked up how the pilot program worked and honestly I’m not too mad about it. There are 3 options:
OBD-II device that reads your odometer and sends that in to be tracked. It has an OPTIONAL GPS which, if turned on, will make sure to only tax the miles driven in California (so it would not apply to miles while out of state). If turned off then all miles are taxed.
Car Telemetry that’s already in newer cars that can phone home and send the numbers in (This is my lease favorite)
You simply take a picture of your odometer and submit it. No invasion of privacy and seeing where you’re going. This is the one I like the best.
I was thinking about this as well earlier today and wondered the same thing
I built this rig ages ago, so definitely not that. I probably didn’t use enough when I upgraded my CPU last year so redoing it should fix it up
This is my project tomorrow. CPU temps have been much higher than normal, so new thermal paste should hopefully do the trick
Doctors don’t necessarily send patient information between each other, but many practices use connected platforms (i.e. My Chart) that a new provider could pull previous history from. Doctor shopping is when a patient goes to different providers/practices in hopes of getting multiple prescriptions (such as controlled substances like Vicoden or Percocet). Others mentioned maybe it’s pharmacy shopping which is when a patient takes prescription(s) to multiple pharmacies hoping for better prices or, in the case of controlled substances, trying to find one who won’t check the state’s controlled medication reporting system to verify they aren’t already getting it elsewhere.
Thank you! That adds a lot more context
Is there an actual article? Whatever this link is, it gives just a couple sentences. Linking an actual source instead of some third party front-end is pretty important when sharing news.
Could be your client. With Sync it properly word wraps, and for myself I actually find this font easier to read
From the article:
To reduce confusion, the FDA and USDA have been pushing manufacturers to voluntarily adopt the phrase “best if used by” to signify quality rather than safety. Research shows this terminology is more likely to be correctly interpreted by consumers.
They’re similar, but used for different purposes. According to UC Davis (University of California), these are the differences
Think that depends on the client. On Sync, I don’t see any summary.
People at work think I’m a wizard because I can do formulas in Excel and know how to navigate through directories in the file explorer. Even standard keyboard shortcuts (Like Ctrl+C) are strange magical things to many of my coworkers.
We’ll burn that bridge when we get to it
That’s not even what the phrase is
It’s likely prepping for loss of income from Google
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. The two parties agreed to the dismissal of the lawsuit and will cover their own costs and fees, according to a court filing dated Monday.
From an article I read last week, it’s an accessibility thing. Front window needs to be low enough for short carriers, and the vehicle needs to be tall enough for a tall carrier to stand in.
Looks silly, but pretty well thought out.
This is the way. It’s always a risk buying used drives, and everything I’ve seen and heard about them has been good news so I expect OP getting a replacement should be pretty easy.
