So kind of like proton, except for multiple platforms and in the source code instead?

That’s odd. I picked it up too and it ran out of the box. Have you tried Proton GE? I’m not 100% sure but thats what my default proton profile is irc
I’ve been using mine as a Mini PC for almost a year since getting it. It works great. The only issues with it I’ve personally had come with regular issues with Linux itself. The battery is still in great health. I’ve only recently had any sort of problem with it and even then I believe it’s just a reasonable hardware failure more than something caused by using it this way.
I really hope it has a Trackpad. The trackpad has made the Steam Deck so useful and multi faceted
I use Mlem. It’s pretty good. My only complaints are that it doesn’t do Spoilers. I don’t know if other clients do this too, but Mlem doesn’t do push notifications either from what I can tell, which I like
I’ll have to look into getting a Ubiquiti once my Airport finally bites the dust because there are some QOL features I’d like to have. I’m starting to think that my airport will never die though
I like Lemmy’s feel. It feels much more of a community because of small size. It’s easier to catch up, like there’s not as much of a FOMO because you maybe get 1-2 new things every hour instead of having 400 posts shoved down your throat after refreshing. At least that’s how I feel
Probably just me coping, but I’m hoping this leads to the return of Airports. I still have an Airport Extreme I use for my router. Having one that can do proper mesh though would be a god send, and having Wi-Fi 6 support would be awesome along with a newer SMB standard for the Time Capsule.
Damn. Right after my Fallout New Vegas play through. This is still exciting though. It will be nice for when I decide to go back to Skyrim eventually
Ironically I just picked up a book from the 80s on programming COBOL to do as a fun challenge (assuming I ever get started)
I got a M1 Pro MacBook a couple weeks ago. I’m astonished at how fucking powerful those thing are. An Intel laptop I had with similar specs would start screaming for mercy for any heavy Programming work I’d do. The MacBook just shrugs it off. Fans don’t even come on
Makes me smile to see people recognizing me outside of my Screenshot posts. I didn’t realize that I was known outside of the gaming community I post in though lol
