Are you in the US? I’m in Europe and I think people here working in supply chains have reservations about DEI targets when buying for American companies for this same reason. We’re taught to buy only based on value and capability to deliver.

I agree, it’s a step beyond the little sticker on the back of the car.
I’d do the same if I had one but pedoguygate switched me off the brand and it’s never been the direction that I wanted to see EVs go (look I have a button that makes the car/range go down really fast. I also don’t think talk of range without reference to battery size is helpful)
Just started using my 2006 SanDisk equivelant of this, I feel attacked lol
Range doesn’t capture the concept of efficiency.that Op was getting at
It needs defining as kw per 100km or miles per kw, but then neither can be summed in a single word
Also, surely this device is no different to a phone in that neither is meant to be listening indiscriminately. There’s a chance a 9 year old has a phone nowadays I’d imagine
I think they mean morally on the part of the student
In the UK, the take up of smart meters for electric and gas has been slow due go concerns that this would enable companies to do the same.
It’s not a bad argument (haven’t paid, turn it off) but then if you’re struggling financially is it better not to be allowed to rack up further debt anyway?
Does that need to be a truck though? I guess in your situation it does but I can’t imagine living so far off road that I need a truck to run to the store.
I do like the concept of Bezos truck (having always felt EV design should have gone in the direction of small efficient low range cars) but feel it won’t carry anything that a small estate couldn’t.
I see the same but cannot for the life of me understand how the stock isn’t shitting the bed. The whole US market is irrational at this stage but Tesla is just ridiculous
As I wash out the plastic yougurt pots, that’s what gets me the most. We’re fucked and it’s not Mrs Smith at number 47 using plastic straws that’s causing this
Brave to assume it would make that distance drive, better hope there’s no slight incline as that would invalidate the warranty
So somewhere inbetween as the article says “more than 10,000 units” and “$800m” so they appear to be valuing them at ~$80k/unit which is ridiculously optimistic.
My guess is closer to 1/3rd of that value but nobody likes to lose half a billion in the blink of an eye
It could have been conjecture but I read on her a few days back that an executive order had absolved ICE from needing to show a warrant, maybe even ID.
I understand that’s a massive erosion of American people’s constitution but, well, colour me shocked!
I dumped all my us stocks as soon as Trump was getting warmed up, I won’t be going back for some years irrespective of perceived returns potential
She strikes me as someone who says controversial things to remain relevant.
Reminds me of one we had over here, I intentionally don’t remember her name but like Piers Morgan but less relevant.
Always chuckle at went on TV saying she hates people calling their children after places… and her daughter was called India.
HomeExchange looks good and is European.
It naturally lacks the depth of listings that Airbnb does but will grow if people use them
Pedantic I know but UK is in Europe, I know you mean EU but don’t give us any ideas! :)
If they really want to boil our piss, put “English (American)” as the only option. Or or, a little American flag next to “English”. Oo, I’m engaging myself right now.
Believe it ormnot: stock goes up
I immediately went looking on temu :)
I don’t the poster meant to happen!
