IQ is stupid. My wife and I are polar opposites. She likes to just kind of relax while I’m obsessed with learning new things. We get along fine. She’s definitely not into linux.

There’s a lot to consider. I for the most part want quality of life. I turned down 100k+ to work from home, have nore days off, and work where I appreciate them and they appreciate me.

From there make sure you don’t stagnate. If you don’t evolve your career you won’t offer as relevant of skills.

Places want long history. And if you love doing something, nothing says that better than a consistent job history of that.

Don’t let drama command your career path. I’m sure your job is in demand enough that you could get a job somewhere else too. Don’t rule out making changes by standing up for yourself.

I know this doesn’t exactly answer your question. But, I hope it helps you narrow down your decisions.

I’d say they are making an attempt. They are researching and making that effort. The first time I met someone who was trans, I just didn’t understand it at all. They let me ask a ton of questions. My opinion has changed over the years because of that.

Personally I don’t want my calander cluttered. I also am annoyed with June 19th. They misspelled it on my calendar app and it’s not a company holiday. I can’t remove it.

The better point would be to have google let you delete holidays and events from the calendar if you want to. Let the decision be in the users hands.

I hate when Obama manipulates the price of eggs.

Bars usually have redbull dispensers around here. But as others have mentioned, caffeine in bulk can do damage. I once went to a gas station and they had energy drinks on tap. I’m had a 48oz energy drink with energy shots. I TALKED WITH CAPS LOCK ON FOR 4 DAYS NON-STOP.

I’m going to say something that may be largely unpopular here; but they are not entirely to blame. California is a state defined by wild fires. It’s at the edge of a desert. It’s always warm there. And it’s on the west Coast. The hottest place in the world is in California. It’s always been a tinder box.

People keep building and building there. The weather is great. But, that keeps making the area more and more dry. Blacktop does not allow water to go back into thw water table. The Colorado river keeps getting water pulled from it. It’s hardly the river it once was.

I have a hard time thinking this is big oil because or this. I’m not for big oil. We just laughed at the face of mother nature and it laughed back at our hubris*.

I have a friend who has a prosthetic. Sure they could live their life in a wheelchair. But this guy goes hiking, and acts like a fully capable walking person. The quality of life is huge. It really gives back their life.
