Why take a principled stand against those who are pushing this when you can just say “government” and leave everyone thinking this is a bipartisan problem?

Why a certain date? That feels arbitrary
Can it recreate anything 1:1? When both my wife and I tried to get them to do that they would refuse, and if pushed they would fail horribly.
If the arugement is a fear of “replacing artists” why is it a problem to use AI as a tool?
