I’ve honestly looked for dumb TV’s for a while. My TCL Roku TV has gotten so slow it’s almost unusable. If I could find a good one I would probably buy one. Instead I got a Raspberry Pi and put Kodi on it. Paired with a Flirc remote, it works great.

Have you looked into blue iris? It’s similar to a PC powered NVR. It can also support streaming to other browsers… I think. It’s been a while since I worked with it. I’ve actually met the 2-3 guys that developed and maintain the software.

Our company used to sell baofeng and we had a random 3rd party china company we bought those cables from. Apart from a 3.3v and 5v version, they’re all the same.
