On the other hand if you grab the Pop OS nvidia iso, I bet it’ll just work. Had no issues with Mint either, other than having to install the driver. Based on recent installs I’ve done with a 3080.

RedHat in the mid-late 90s here too. It wasn’t a great time for the linux desktop haha. I think I used afterstep or windowmaker back then. RPM hell was bad and hosed my system enough that Debian was like a savior with apt-get. Never really looked back from debian based systems since.

Having to make a new account because I wanted to see NSFW on another instance was kind of a mood killer. Not sure how that could be done better but I really don’t want to be making other accounts.
