I might have been unlucky, I hope you’ll have a better experience than me! Let’s not forget that I’ve been very happy with them for years before this happened.
Still hesitating between Netcup and a dedicated Kimsufi, but I am most likely going with Netcup in a week when their Easter sale starts :)
Thanks for the explanation :)
Why should I stop using vps for my needs? I looked at the dedicated servers but they’re all too expensive for me.
And yea I would like it to be all SSD, to me it makes a big difference for browsing large file collections, pictures and videos.
Oh this is great! Thanks!!
I would have really liked to use their servers, but unfortunately they don’t have the right combination of specs for me.
Consumer wise though, they’re great. I use their products regularly for my company.
I couldn’t find similar products on Ionos and Hetzner (either too expensive or not enough storage).
However I didn’t know Netcup, and it seems to be a pretty good fit! Especially the VPS 3000.
Thank you :)
Ahh I see, you helped me understand thz other comment. Thanks a lot!
I see thank you.
But if I want to keep my Proton VPN connection active, I don’t think what you’re describing is doable.
That would mean being connected to two vpns at once wouldn’t it?
EDIT : i get it now, if I configure it on the router, I won’t have to connect to two vpns on the same device
This might be a dumb question, but could I access my Jellyfin through an external VPN like Proton?
I have it set up in my raspberry to download Linux ISOs and run Jellyfin
What
I’ve committed a bunch of relatives and myself to a year of the Family plan, and now most of us want to leave… What a mess.
Less than 4€ for a dozen local organic eggs. I live in a small village in France, and we’re luck to be able to buy it directly from the producer.
Yea they seem nice, but they don’t I don’t think they sell laptops with AZERTY keyboards
You’re right, all manufacturers have their issues. I have a hard time finding one where you feel like it’s a safe bet. Which is why I’m leaning toward framework, but the company is young and has far less experience, so it’s also a risk…
Nevermind, found it… Thanks for reminding me :)
I would never again recommend MSI… I bought a 3000€ MSI Creator 3 years ago for work :
Reaplcing the keyboard requires a full body replacement, which costs like 300€ 🙃
I’ve also had some very bad experiences with a entry price gaming msi for someone in my family.
Why do you say that about the framework?
Hold up, I did not receive a charger with mine
Oh! Great resources thanks
