Yeah there HAS to be a way to cache all the posts comments replies etc at a certain point. Maybe every so often it flashes a cache on your server; saves everything; and lets you either create new with what you had OR move or.

Well they rushed it out because of Twitter. It was a smart move. It’s clearly still in beta though. I think with just a followed/follower tab could make threads actually pretty enjoyable experience. Like a Reddit instagram Twitter all mixed into one. I’m usually a massive meta hater… but I enjoy threads.

I also would prefer Lemmy to be the lone survivor of this social media war. Cause Lemmy is awesome.

Damn can’t say I ever saw this. I remember seeing the OG iPod in CompUSA on display and just enjoying the spinny wheel. As a 13 year old it was glorious.
