Wow, thanks! It was really fun to build
No, it’s a EFI app I developed in Rust that does a query over multicast UDP and uses the result to select which EFI app (Windows bootloaded (yeah I know…) Or systemd-boot to start Arch)
There’s nothing related to proxmox itself, it’s just there that I host my LXC with the service that responds to the quey.
I boot on a custom EFI app to control my dualboot (instead of systemd-boot or grub) that asks a service on my proxmox server which OS I’m supposed to boot.
Overkill, but it allows me to control my dual-boot without a keyboard in my computer (because it’s a Bluetooth keyboard so I can’t really use it in grub anyway)
Same in France. Anyone can call themselves a “software engineer”. But the title of “engineer” (ingénieur) is specific for people who graduated from a school allowed to deliver engineering degrees.
Oooooh, so ot was built-in! Yeah that’s the one I was thinking about, thanks
I don’t remember the one, but I used to have something that would insult me when I typed the wrong password when sudoing
Just a heads-up, until v2 is released, it does not scale. I used it to monitor around 40 services. It’s too much. So if you have a lot of things to monitor for uptime you might need to either split in several uptime-kuma services, or reduce the frequency
As a French? Yeah fuck France…
I have the same issue, and I had to use a Mac for work, didn’t have a choice in that matter.
I didn’t know about AeroSpace though, sounds interesting. Currently I’m using Amethyst which provides tiling, but it’s not i3/sway-like, so not perfect.
Yes, that’s exactly what they’re doing. If you have a Patreon, you must choose between increasing patreon price on Apple specifically compared to Android and Web, or you can keep the price the same, in which case you will earn less from users using iOS in-app purchase
Ooooooh so that’s why my face changed when I changed my first name. I thought it was the hormones, but no, t’was the new name!
It seemed to have been a bet that the left would be completely divided so that he could place his party as the defender against the far right in order to get an absolute majority (he only had a relative majority until now)
That didn’t work because the left parties managed to create a united front in less than a week.
But let’s not forget the following: yes, the left parties have a relative majority (or at least should given the last estimations), but the far right did gain a lot of seats in the elections compared to last time. So yeah it could have been worse, but it’s not exactly a comfortable situation either
That’s good, because otherwise your data might end in a blaze.
(Totally not speaking from experience)
Yeah I went back from Contabo tbh, as you said, I had several outages, the worst of which lasted several days with absolutely no information, nor response from the support. (My VPS had all the symptoms of a broken disk, which was extremely worrying)
That, plus the subscription fees, it’s not something I would advise today
Yeah, this is one of the seasons the Pirate party is pushing for a unique ballot, because the current format is really unfavorable towards small parties that don’t have the means to print the ballots among other things
Concerning your edit, not sure about other countries, but I can speak about the process in France.
We get (normally) ballots with the programs in the mail before the elections, so we can also bring ballots from there. Then the way it works when voting is
So there’s not really a way to definitely know you’re voting for an unlisted candidate here.
As far as I know, gadgetbridge does not support tizenOS smartwatches
Latency is abysmal though
