Thirded on RK. I’ve night two of their boards, RK71& RK84, both black BT/RF. The 71 I derped on as it didn’t have a dedicated F key row and it impacted gameplay at times. Took that one to the office and daily drive both. I think both are brown switches.

What Aiden did was a heinous and horrible outcome, but I can’t get over the deadnaming and pronoun misuse, regardless their actions and motivations. Not defending their actions, killing is bad m’kay? They had a lot of built up hatred, and combined with poor mental health, not surprising if it was instigated by the Convenant School whilst they attended. Overall, however, it looks like they were confused and broken.

I drive past this school ever so often, and while I know this can happen at any school, it always hits harder knowing there are asshole kids everywhere. Regardless of true intent, this shit destroys teachers’ livelihoods. While Malvern is a richer area by far (edge of the PA Main Line old money), that doesn’t excuse the behavior, even though there will be money thrown around to silence mouths.
The BS at the end of the article about these kids making the videos private so teachers can’t find them just enrages me more. Like, you little shits haven’t learned you lesson?

So I never really dabbled in DDG. I did for a little while, but just like Brave (Eich being a POS, anti-LGBTQ, questionable crypto BS, etc.), some dirt came up for DDG that steered me away. Although, now doing more digging, and even Startpage has its issues. I really don’t like this hopping round thing.
I just switched from Chrome to Brave, and then shortly after from Brave to Vivaldi. Search engine is now Startpage.com, which while slower than Google, it’s been bringing up decent results. Unfortunately I still use quite a few Google-centric apps, so hopefully I’m able to discover more options as time goes on.
Just did that at my workplace, and the Windows App (at least for MacOS), was just all around shittier. It removed all of the previously setup VMs and standalone desktops staff would remote into for certain programs not compatible in an Apple environment, and then it killed the shared folder connection between devices, so for a short while there, we had to use OneDrive as a “quick and dirty” workaround. Finally got it working, but it took the full removal of the Windows App, including digging into every Library folder to delete any straggler files. Oh and it also would forget the reconnected remote sessions we’d set up, so that every time you closed it, you’d need to recreate the remote session.
Can you tell I am pissed? Least it was a one time sitch so far, but damn.
