The highest earning 10% also have about 67% of the wealth, so they are actually underperforming compared to the rest of the population. It’s just that they have all the money.
If you have the time for an hour-long deep dive into the history, check out this video from a history youtuber I’m a big fan of:

I’ve been wondering about that - the Misskey numbers are very weird, with MAU even lower than the number of new users that join in an average month. But this is a good explanation, thanks. It’s just too bad there’s not a good way to get MAU for them.
I dunno, I only follow capybarabot.
If you look at monthly active users instead of total users, Pixelfed is a strong 2nd place.
This is looking at total users, but I think monthly active users would be a better stat to use here. Lemmy has about 3 times the MAU of Misskey.
Edit: Also worth noting that Pixelfed has close to 3 times Lemmy’s MAU now.

This is not-the-Onion material.
My money’s on 4.
Maybe a panini.
If Harris becomes president, Musk will never meet his original goal of putting a human on Mars by 2021!
I tried to hit F5 to run a query and it refreshed the page lol
edit: I’m also slightly annoyed that the table names are a mix of singular and plural
