@jason123santa - we were just talking about this
@subunit317 this happened right outside a homies grandmother’s home… crazy and scary. but it’s wild watching how close those planes get to the ground and other cars…
@Semi_Hemi_Demigod @subunit317 one of us?
@DonAntonioMagino making backups of your home folder (/home/username) is a great ways to survive reinstalls. also install discovery if you don’t have it. its an easy way to install and find software… i dont know opensuse package manager… but it should be a simple command
@adrianhooves This unlocked a core memory in me … And I hated it. Old kde (I think 3) couldn’t run on my potato…and I wasn’t versed enough then to change that.
Edit - landed on pclinuxos for a bit
…so 45% are totally chill with this. Great.
@waspentalive theres some cheap intel n100 devices that you can get…
@4Robato So it’s a PITA to set it up… but Friendica seems to solve this issue. I wish there was a decent mobile app to recommend… but I really like the bookface theme. But yeah, here I am posting this to lemmy and the post below this is from mastodon or various other fedi’s
But it is a bit of a pain to set up to get it how I like it… by default they basically give you all the keys to the castle and laugh at you. when you dont know where to go
@Tea
…how about the bluesky folks actually federate? For some reason I can’t convince anyone there to use the fedi bridge …
