Don’t get too excited. They’re just doing it so it doesn’t get in the way of the Ai they’ll be putting on there.
They’re saying the right need to leave trans people and drag queens alone because they’re far from the problem when it comes to pedophilia and trafficking.
My answer was more for those stuck on that screen without a second computer to grab another iso on.
When it asks you for an email use “no@email.com” and use a random string of characters for the password. Congrats, you can now use a local account on setup.
And that’s the real answer for how to handle phones in schools. Someone else said leave it home but I’m a single parent of a special needs child, he’s taking his phone to school and the school can eat my ass if they don’t like it. Never had a problem.
Parents tend to care significantly less about a $20 toy than a $700+ smartphone.
You can save just about anything in bitwarden. I’m not 100% it will autofill addresses, as in you don’t have to click anything, however you can safe addresses and when you need it you can tell bitwarden to fill it in. I think it depends on the mobile device you use. I’ve read that proton is better on iPhone and bitwarden doesn’t integrate that well with it but it’s seamless on android. I also haven’t had any issues with bitwarden and Firefox and they’ve been my combo since I started using bitwarden a couple years ago. I haven’t given proton pass a full on try yet though and I pay both companies for their awesome services so I’m a bit of a shill for both. I don’t think you can make a bad choice here.
If blocking a website on government devices/networks is a violation of free speech why are you just now sounding the alarm? Why didn’t you sound the alarm when I wasn’t allowed to browse reddit on my government laptop? The government blocking access on personal devices/networks is a violation, blocking access on government networks/devices is business as usual.
For not being a US citizen you have a better grasp on our free speech laws than the professors suing Texas. First I want to state fuck Greg Abbott. Now with that being said, it’s not a violation of free speech for the government to block a website on government devices/networks. There are already a huge number of websites that are blocked. I can understand the arguments against doing it but it’s not a violation of free speech just because they don’t block Facebook too.
I might be spreading misinformation but I’ve seen it mentioned by multiple sources so I’ll take a lesson from LTT, Linus invests in a company that makes gpu waterblocks.
